There’s no denying how much I love decorating for the holidays. I put on my favourite Christmas playlist, light candles, grab a glass of wine and thoroughly enjoy each second, while pulling out ornaments, stockings and every bit of garland I own. I did this every year with my family and now I continue the tradition in my own home, though we’ve decided to postpone getting a tree until this weekend, which is typically a later start. Yes, we still buy a real tree…I can’t quite commit to a fake one. I LOVE the smell of the real tree too much! But, thankfully, there are great candles out there that bring that heavenly smell into your home, saving you the mess of a real tree (pine needles end up all over our house by January LOL!). Anyways, today I’ve rounded up some of my favourite holiday decor items. I tend to keep the house pretty neutral with a lot of white, gold and a bit of green. Some must haves I have on hand: boxes of tiny LED string lights to place in various vases or throughout centrepieces…a card or two that I use as prints in frames…small touches that bring the festive spirit into our home.
