This past week I travelled with my mom all the way to White Rock B.C. to help my Aunt Nancy go through all of Nana’s possessions. Yes, it was a long drive and yes, it was often painful to see items that reminded us of her; but, it was also inspiring. There were so many pieces that brought such happy memories where we smiled and laughed together. I loved being by the ocean again and it flooded me with memories of past trips to the beach with my family. And even though the trip was clouded with the knowledge of a special person’s absence, spending time with people I love in a place I love was uplifting. Here are some captured moments…
A walk down many stairs to get to the promenade
Back through the big, beautiful trees
Glimpses of my Aunt and Uncle’s beautiful home
The picture of the art of the pier knocked the wind out of me knowing of Nado’s absence. Can’t believe we won’t walk the pier with her again. Bloody hell. Missing you guys from Florida. Love you Kia
Her absence was felt big time. Missing you guys too but hope you are having a lovely holiday. Lots of love.
