Weekend Words: The Best Day

It’s true what they say. You blink and then it’s over. After a long engagement and so many months spent planning, our wedding day came and went so fast. But it was absolutely, without a doubt, the best day I have ever had. From being with my girls to Ryan and I’s first look; from the most incredible surprise I have ever experienced to that dreamlike moment walking down the aisle; from the emotional words spoken that touched my heart to the new family bonds; from the first dance to the last dance with the sorest feet and an unbelievably dirty dress. It could not have been more perfect. I laughed and cried…a lot (I think my final tally was like 18 times haha) because I was the absolute happiest I have ever been. Looking out at that room full of all our loved ones, it did not escape me how fortunate we were as a couple, to have so much support, generosity and infinite amounts of love. It just doesn’t get any more special than that.

I can’t wait to share more about our big day! All the details, memories and more! But we are off on a whirlwind honeymoon exploring Croatia, Montenegro, Switzerland and Spain…for a whole month! So this lovely blogger will be going into a bit of a vacation mode. There will be sporadic posts here and there and some travel updates but nothing too crazy! I intend to relax and just soak up this special time with my new husband. HUSBAND! Woooo!
