When it comes to decorating my home for the holidays, I like to include my table in the design, regardless if we are planning to host people or not. Having a festive table just makes my home and kitchen look even more Christmasy and put together! And, all I need to do is add some plates and cutlery to be dinner ready in a flash! I like my table settings to be pretty simple and able to change on a whim, so this year, I decided to do 2 different looks using much of the same elements, to show you just how effortless holiday tablescapes can be!
For the first look, I used a long piece of garland, intertwined with some other leaves, placed with a string of white LED lights overtop a white and silver table runner. Then, I used some of our mercury votives from the wedding and some clear, round Christmas ornaments to add that extra bit of sparkle. For the second look, I wanted a more Scandinavian look, so I cut up the garland and placed the pieces inside some white vases. I used the clear votives from the first look and then threw a few spray painted pinecones on the table for some added texture.
Both holiday tablescapes are so easy and versatile, something that can work with many styles!!
