Might as well stick with the theme of bathrooms this week! Last summer, I took you on a tour of the Beaumont Dream Home – the house we designed and built for my lovely mom. It is currently listed, so before someone else swoops in and snags this beautiful place, I wanted to snap a few pictures of the gorgeous master bathroom. I love this bathroom design for a few reasons – it is bright and airy, with white walls and quartz countertops. Then the charcoal floor tiles and dark cabinetry contrast beautifully. As you may remember from my own bathroom design, I am really digging the darker vanities at the moment! We chose mirrors, lighting and fixtures from Restoration Hardware that give the space a classic feel. I absolutely love them! And the placement of the sconces is perfect (makeup application becomes a cinch!).And then there’s the gorgeous free standing, porcelain tub that became a major focal point in the room. I love the lines of this tub and the vintage inspired faucet. You would catch me relaxing in here often if I lived here. Originally, we had a chandelier passed down from Nana that was pretty lavish but we settled on this clean, simple chandelier instead. This one pulls in the other fixtures’ finishes perfectly and adds a bit more romantic lighting to the space.Beside the tub is the oversized shower. We chose a very similar tile to the floor but slightly lighter. A rain shower head is always a nice addition too! So what do you think of this classic bathroom design? It’s getting me even more excited to complete our own transformation!!
