Wow, what a week it’s been. I know most of us are pretty exhausted from the state of the world and slightly overwhelmed. I know I am! I actually had to just turn the TV off and try and stay away from all the news for a bit. Which was actually a great motivator to get me back into my blogging world. I needed a bit of a break but now I’m feeling enthused and ready to tackle some great blog posts. And hey, when the news gets to be too much, we should really just take a break and do some online shopping, amiright?!?!
For this week’s home decor favourites, I’ve rounded up some great items that all belong in the kitchen. I guess I’ve already got my brain turned towards the holiday season and the fact I’m cooking Christmas dinner for the first time (oh wow, I just had a mini panic attack lol)! So I’ll need to stock up on a few kitchen gadgets and there’s no reason they can’t be beautiful and practical at the same time. Here’s what I’m loving this week…
Home Decor Favourites this Friday:
I’ve never cooked a turkey before but I know it’s definitely not fitting into anything I currently own. I found this gorgeous copper detailed roaster and knew it would be a perfect kitchen addition for the holidays.
I usually wear a vintage apron from my Nana but this one is also super cute.
Sticking to the copper trend, a few good mixing bowls will be necessary for all the holiday baking I plan to do!
Ryan and I have been battling with this one pepper mill forever. It’s time for an upgrade (especially because my husband puts pepper on literally everything!) and I love this one that brings a punch of black to the table setting.
A simple pastry board is handy to have to roll out dough but it also looks pretty for display purposes.
And finally, this copper whisk will help me with all my whisking tasks 🙂
