Typically, this series is just some iPhone photography giving everyone just a glimpse into my everyday, more than what you would see on Instagram anyway. But, I really wanted to give it a bit of a face lift and find more purpose behind the series. So now, these posts will be a good ‘ol round up of various entertainment, design, food, products or outfits that I’m currently loving! So expect some tweaks here and there over the next little while but until then, enjoy the first official entry!
Just over a week ago, I was invited by the Cutting Room and Kérastase Canada to indulge in a new hair treatment and a blowout. Never having a blowout before, I immediately said yes but what I didn’t realize was how amazing the treatment was going to be as well. The new Chronologiste line is so luxurious and smells heavenly. They washed my hair, then covered the strands from root to tip with the treatment – all while I sipped on some bubbly! All the nutrients soaked in and afterwards I couldn’t stop touching my hair – it was gloriously soft and shiny! So I have made a promise to Jonn, the owner of the Cutting Room who absolutely spoiled me, that I will continue to do weekly treatments. I’ve already done another one and am loving the results!
Reading: I cannot put Kristin Hannah’s The Nightingale down…it has completely engrossed me and I can tell already it will necessitate an Inspired Reads post!
Music: I am currently loving Active Child. Fave songs: Silhouette, Evening Ceremony & 1999
I ran into Workhall the other day and picked up one of their new Tee’s and it has become my day to day summer go to…with a pair of white jeans and some sneakers you can’t go wrong!
Needing to get in wedding shape, I turned to Edmonton Power Yoga to get me feeling tip top! The first class kicked my butt BUT it felt amazing and I’ve been back almost everyday. I love the Power Flow…how it feels a bit more athletic and challenging for me but is still in a warm room, similar to Moksha which is what I am used to do. And the best part? The cold herbal infused cloth pressed onto your forehead at the end of EVERY class. Obsessed.
In my world at the moment? Wedding, wedding, wedding!! It’s non stop, which I know all brides go through with only a week to go! Last weekend, I spent the afternoon with some of my favourite ladies out there for a sweet wedding shower. It was lovely and I will definitely be sharing more highlights soon. Until then, I’m busy checking off more details for the big day…like these envelopes I did for each of our guests’ drink tickets…
Have an incredible night everyone! xo
Wait, you mean you *made* those envelopes yourself…the writing…? If so, WOW.

Haha thanks so much! Yes, it took awhile but I wrote every single one and filled them with our DIY drink tickets too!
