And finally the day arrives…the day I get to show off the results of the months of hard work that went into the Laurier Heights flip. From filming Episode one, tearing down the old to make way for the new, from bombs and stolen trucks in our second episode to selecting the perfect products and finally staging this beauty of a home, it has been a whirlwind of a project to say the least. But, I have to say, the result turned out better than we expected. I am so excited for this home reveal and today, I am starting off by showing you the renovation of the main bathroom and master bedroom.
| After |
We kept it simple in the bedroom, with soft white walls (Benjamin Moore’s White Dove) and the bamboo solid wood floors we installed throughout the main floor.
I loved the grey, pin striped bedding we picked up. Just enough for buyers to get a sense of how nice this master could be. And now for the bathroom. I talked about my inspiration in this post and was so excited to see it realized…but first, let’s remember what it looked like to start with.

| After |
We started with the white subway in the shower/tub surround but instead of white, I opted for a darker grey grout to pull in some of the other elements in the bathroom, like the charcoal floor tile.Because the bathroom was a great size, we were able to fit a double vanity (yay!!) and some open shelving for storage.
I absolutely love the main bathroom and was really happy with how the black accents came together. I hope the new owners keep some small wood details or woven textures…it really helps to balance the space.
And there you have it. Two of the Laurier Heights spaces revealed! What do you think so far? Check back tomorrow for more to feast your eyes on…perhaps this new kitchen would be a good place to cook a feast…(oy, that is what happens when I try to think of something clever as a sign off!)
xoxo
The bedroom and bathroom turned out so amazing!!
Thanks Janna!!!
Thanks so much Janna! xo
It turned out great! Remodeling can be tough (especially if you’re living in it during the process) but it makes you appreciate the “after” so much more. Love it!
So true!! Thanks for stopping by!!!
