My Mid-Century Modern Dresser on POPSUGAR!

An exciting blogging moment happened to me today! It has me doing a pretty big happy dance over here…I mean, as crazy as I can get with this massive belly! I got to see my work displayed on the pages of POPSUGAR, another one of my favourite sites I visit on the daily! {Insert all the excited emojis here}. They wrote a great article about my Ikea dresser hack!

It’s so funny to think back to that project now, totally unaware how popular it would end up becoming. I seriously just needed an affordable option that matched the aesthetic of the bedroom. It seemed like a no brainer to take the Tarva dresser and make it resemble so many of the white beauties I was drooling over but couldn’t factor into our budget.

I can’t tell you how exciting it is to see your work being appreciated elsewhere. After blogging for some time now, it’s been easy to get discouraged. So many times I would wonder if all the hours were worth it. But now, I finally feel like the pieces are falling into place and I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing. It’s a great feeling!

So keep it up my fellow bloggers & designers! Every small success is something to be celebrated!
