When timing permits, I really try to be creative with my holiday wrapping. And I do enjoy it! This year I found some really beautiful wrapping paper from Home Sense that was 100% recycled kraft paper AND had a metallic chevron print. I was sold.
I still had some plain kraft paper and bags left over from another project so I went out and bought twine, small clothespins, and found some perfect gift tags from Chapters. Also on hand: Washi tape and some beautiful Papyrus tissue paper.
I don’t have much to wrap yet but I thought these three gifts turned out lovely to start. I borrowed a little bit from our tree and injected a small pop of red on one. That’s probably the most red you will see in my house this year! The chevron is so much fun and I love layering twine. And, of course, having kraft bags on hand is always great for those hard to cover presents.
They look pretty great under the tree, if I do say so myself! But I’m excited to play around with more combinations as we buy more gifts.
Busted, Shya! I think she was hoping those were for her! (my dogs are forever playing in or around the tree!)
